Briana B. Franklin believes money is not just math; it’s psychology. Franklin, who is the co-founder, president and CEO of The Prosp(a)rity Project, is on a mission to help Black women understand the constraints of debt and equip them with the tools they need to be debt-free to reach financial freedom.

On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Franklin talked with show host Rose Scott about her personal story with debt and how she used her experience to create The Prosp(a)rity Project.

She also discussed her organization’s work and efforts to educate others about the current $2 trillion predatory lending crisis.
