Atlanta Radio Hits Some Big Waves: A Talk with Former WGST Station Manager Eric Seidel

It’s been a tumultuous few weeks in Atlanta radio.  Several stations have changed formats:  among them, rock station Dave-FM, and longtime news and talk station WGST.  The changes are signs of a more fundamental shift in radio, which have implications for both listeners and broadcasters.  That’s the message of former WGST news director and station manager Eric Seidel.  He spoke with WABE’s Denis O’Hayer, one of the many broadcasters first hired in Atlanta by Eric Seidel.  (For broadcast version, click the top button; for expanded version, click the bottom button.)
