Atlanta food enthusiasts have a new reason to be excited as the city is getting its own Michelin dining guide.
Inspectors are currently evaluating restaurants in Atlanta and the metro area. This fall, the selected establishments that meet the criteria will be revealed in the highly-regarded Michelin guide.
Eater Atlanta editor Beth McKibben joined “All Things Considered” to talk about what this recognition means for the city.
She said restaurants will be rated based on factors like quality, value for money, sustainability and beverage offerings.
McKibben said she’s eagerly speculating which restaurants will make the cut and what designation they will receive.
