Bat Boy

Being a bat boy isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Bat boys are usually at a game hours before an event an stay for hours afterward. Eric Durban say he’s always loved baseball and that’s what makes his job particularly great. Officially bat boys are responsible for fielding balls that land outside the foul line, but inside the park. They also provide balls to the home plate umpire and, of course, take care of bats.
