BronzeLens Film Festival Showcases Local And National Talent
The BronzeLens Film Festival is in its eight year. Along with screening films from around the country focusing on African-American stories and filmmakers, BronzeLens honors industry leaders and hosts panels, master classes and luncheons.
“City Lights” host Lois Reitzes spoke with BronzeLens’ executive producer Kathleen Bertrand about this year’s festival along with local filmmaker and journalist Malena Cunningham Anderson. Her documentary about cello prodigy Malik Kofi, “Little Music Manchild,” is one of the films featured in the festival and premieres Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Auburn Avenue Research Library.
