Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie, and Oscar the Grouch – all the lovable residents of “Sesame Street” are coming to Atlanta, the most puppet-positive city in America.

“Sesame Street: The Musical” made a triumphant debut in its off-Broadway run. Now, the show enjoys a residency at the Center for Puppetry Arts, a co-production with Rockefeller Studios, with performances June 5 through Aug. 4.

Johnathan Rockefeller is producer, writer and director for “Sesame Street: The Musical,” and he joins Lois Reitzes now to talk about this latest romp with our furry friends.
