Christmas at the Swan House

Atlanta History Center

Built in 1928 to house one of Atlanta’s most prominent families of the time, the Swan House remains a prominent fixture in Buckhead. The one-time Inman Family home is today part of the Atlanta History Center and was featured in the latest installment of the Hunger Games trilogy.

City Cafe’s John Lemley recently visited the Swan House and spoke with manager Jessica VanLanduyt about the home and its holiday history. They began the tour outside – surveying the architecture.

On Saturday, December 14, the Atlanta History Center is hosting “The Holiday Spirit,” an annual program giving visitors a chance to experience holidays past at the Swan House and Smith Family Farm.
