On the “City Lights” series “Speaking of Comedy,” Atlanta’s funniest locals share insights on the perks and perils of their profession. This edition features Atlanta-based comedian Paul Ollinger.

“Comedy has taken me all over the city. I’ve learned a lot about the city and met people that I wouldn’t know if I were a suburban dad doing a corporate gig,” Ollinger said. “Over the last decade, I’ve got to be friends with people like Yohanse Collins, Katie Hughes, Nick Murphy, Lace Larrabee, Bob Place. I’ve spent a lot of time with these people and I consider them my friends and I wouldn’t know them unless we all shared a love of comedy.”

Ollinger is also a co-host on the “Crazy Money” podcast, which has featured guests like LL Cool J, Judd Apatow, Moby, the author Ryan Holiday and winners of the Nobel prize, Heisman Trophy and Olympic gold medals.
