In Conversation with Catherine Crier

Sunday, March 4 at 8:00 pm

Tonight’s conversation is with former District Court Judge, Emmy-award winning journalist, best-selling author, and television news anchor- Catherine crier. Catherine is one of the most respected figures in television journalism and she says she’s afraid for our country. She believes our “republic” -the system that our founding fathers established, is in grave danger.” Recently I had the opportunity to talk with Catherine Crier at The Carter Center here in Atlanta and she spoke of how the political philosophies and doctrines that shaped our nation have since been distorted by liberals and conservatives alike, threatening our system of representative democracy. I also spoke with Catherine about her understanding of the staggering disconnect between the financial health of corporations and the well-being of consumers. We will explore this political crisis and how it permeates society from health care to the economy to the electoral process. Catherine has suggestions she hopes will help to move us beyond modern, partisan ideals to a course with vision, wisdom and reason.
