Spivey Hall Continues to Highlight the Great Singers of Our Day

– American countertenor David Daniels is known for his superlative artistry, magnetic stage presence and a voice of singular warmth and beauty. He made history as the first countertenor to give a solo recital in the main auditorium of Carnegie Hall. He has appeared with the world's major opera companies including the San Francisco Opera, Bavarian State Opera, Royal Opera Covent Garden, and the Metropolitan Opera, and has performed as soloist with the Berlin Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Orchestra. He moved to Atlanta in the summer of 2007, and now returns to Spivey Hall in a recital of music by Handel, Brahms, Hahn, Vaughan Williams, among others.

Yesterday David Daniels dropped by WABE and spoke to Wanda Yang Temko.
