Cow Sighted Near Clayton County Interstates
If you are commuting into Atlanta from the south, be on the lookout for a cow. That’s right: a cow.
Clayton County police say the cow has been wandering near I-285 and Anvil Block Road for over a month.
However, there have been other sightings near the I-75 interchange with I-675.
So the cow is clearly covering some ground.
Clayton police spokesman Officer Eddie Soto says animal control workers have responded to sightings three or four times.
But so far, they have not been able to catch it. “They try to contain it. It just takes off, and it goes toward the wood line,” said Officer Soto. “And they don’t want keep on chasing it because of the fear of him coming around and then actually getting into the interstate.”
Police are asking for your help. They want you to call 911 if you spot the cow.
Officer Soto says, the more sightings they get, the more likely they will be able to track it down again.
