Dr. Beverly Hall Again Denies Involvement with Cheating: A Talk with Her New Co-Counsel

On the afternoon of Tuesday, April 2, 2013, former DeKalb County District Attorney J. Tom Morgan joined former Atlanta U.S. Attorney Richard Deane as co-counsel for former Atlanta School Superintendent Dr. Beverly Hall.

 She is one of 35 former APS educators indicted on charges of participating in cheating on the 2009 Criterion Referenced Competency Test (CRCT).

The interview was recorded shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, as Dr. Hall was preparing to turn herself in at the Fulton County Jail for processing. At the time, her bond had already been reduced from more than $7 million to $200,000.
