Emmy-nominated 'Legacy List' helps families declutter and separate trash from treasure
As the new year begins, many of us are thinking of resolutions. Perhaps you’ve got a basement full of boxes or a closet bursting with unworn clothes that demand your attention. But what do you do when a decluttering project means trying to sort through decades worth of priceless memories? That’s the question Matt Paxton consistently tackles as the host of the Emmy-nominated PBS series “Legacy List.”
Season 5 premieres on WABE TV on Tuesday, Jan. 16. In this interview, “City Lights” managing producer Kim Drobes spoke with Paxton about his ongoing quest to sort treasure from trash.
“I think clothing is the hardest, so this week, turn all your hangers going one way, and then when you wear that piece of clothing, turn your hangers the other way so you can see what you have and have not worn,” Paxton says.
