Local foodies rejoiced when The Michelin Guide in Atlanta was announced on Oct. 24. The respected guidebook selected Atlanta restaurants based on five universal criteria. And although Atlanta is known for its delicious Southern food, the selections are as diverse as the city.

In this interview, Max Hines, chef, owner of Breaker Breaker and WABE podcast host, joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to discuss this esteemed recognition.

“If you want to understand the food scene here in Atlanta, you have to actually come here, spend some time and actually invest in the culture,” Hines says.
