Coloring books aren’t just for kids. Adult coloring books have been available for several years, and they’re highly recommended to relieve stress.
With that in mind, Explore Georgia, part of the state’s tourism department, has created multiple indoor activities for kids and adults while we still spend more time at home.
“City Lights” host Lois Reitzes spoke with Meggan Hood, of the state tourism board and director of brand strategy for Explore Georgia. She was also joined by Mariana Costa, executive creative director for Blue Sky Agency, which created the coloring books and digital puzzles. Each page in the coloring books showcases memorable locations throughout Georgia.
On the website’s Explore Georgia from Home page, they offer new virtual activities and games in order to keep adventurous hearts occupied.
“There was an opportunity to give a respite from all the craziness that was happening in the world, and we were inspired with the beautiful sights and sounds and places throughout the state,” said Hood.
