Fatal Plane Crash in NW Atlanta
At about 7:25 Tuesday evening, December 17, a multi-engine aircraft crashed with two people on board in northwest Atlanta near where James Jackson Parkway/South Cobb Drive crosses the Chattahoochee River. Both passengers were killed in the crash.
The Federal Aviation Agency said the plane was a Raytheon 390 Premier I multi-engine aircraft that had just departed from Fulton County Airport-Brown Field bound for New Orleans.

Joseph King and Kevin Krapp were eyewitness to the crash. Both men confirmed that the plane burst into flames upon impact.
Kevin Krapp provided WABE with photos and a brief video taken at the scene of the crash.

This is preliminary information about a Raytheon 390 Premier I multi-engine aircraft that crashed on Thomas Road in northwest Atlanta at 7:25 pm today.
The flight departed from Fulton County Airport in Atlanta and was destined for New Orleans Lakefront Airport. Two persons were on board.
The FAA will release the aircraft registration after local authorities release the names and conditions of persons on board the aircraft.
The aircraft is registered to a metro Atlanta-area company.
The FAA and the NTSB are investigating. THE NTSB will determine probable cause.
