Flood Warnings Continue Through Friday

The National Weather Service has extended a flash flood warning until 9 p.m. Friday for areas with creeks and rivers still rising because of the heavy rain we had yesterday.

Under the warning are: Cherokee County near the Etowah River and Forsyth and Fulton Counties near Big Creek.

Most of the metro area will remain under a flash flood watch until 6:00 a.m. Friday.
