Local, national and international media have gathered at the Fulton County Jail, awaiting the arrival of former President Trump. A large crowd of supporters and critics are also lined up along Rice Street, where Trump will voluntarily surrender. Trump and 18 other defendants face several felony counts, including racketeering, for their alleged effort to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election results.

On today’s “Closer Look with Rose Scott,” WABE Reporters Rahul Bali and Sam Gringlas updated the latest on all of the defendants, including what happened during the booking of Trump Lawyer Rudy Giuliani. They also gave their analysis of Wednesday night’s GOP Debate.

WABE Reporter Julien Virgin also gave us a view of the large gathering outside the Fulton County Jail and shared what he was hearing from supporters who traveled miles to support Trump.
