Former Georgia Congresswoman Disbarred
Former Georgia Congresswoman Denise Majette has lost her license to practice law in Georgia.
In a ruling today, the Supreme Court of Georgia disbarred Majette for “submitting misleading time sheets and invoices to her client… and misrepresenting her hours and fees to a court.”
Majette served one term in the U.S. House of Representatives. She also served for nine years as a state court judge in DeKalb County.
