Four Little Girls
September 15, 2013 marks 50 years since the 16th Street Church bombing in Birmingham, Alabama.
The explosion killed four young girls and the event became a focal point in the Civil Rights Movement.
Commemoration ceremonies will take place across the nation this weekend with the reading of the play Four Little Girls: Birmingham 1963.
Atlanta’s reading will take place Sunday evening at the Martin Luther King, Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College.
