Four more restaurants in metro Atlanta can now claim a coveted Michelin Star, while dozens of others were added to the Recommended and Bib Gourmand designations.

The French tire manufacturer announced the additions last night at a packed red-carpet gala at the Georgia World Congress Center.

This is the second year the guide has come to Atlanta, and all five of the establishments to receive a star in 2023 managed to maintain the status. One of those in attendance was Beth McKibben, senior editor at Rough Draft where she covers Atlanta’s food and dining scene.

McKibben joined “All Things Considered” to talk about what effect being a “Michelin Guide city” has had on Atlanta now that we’re a year in.
