Fulton County chair says he's prioritizing a new hospital over a new jail

Fulton County has been in the local and national spotlight for a number of issues. The county has received much attention in recent years, from reported deaths and poor conditions at the Fulton jail to the scrutiny of the county’s election process.

On Thursday’s episode of “Closer Look,” Fulton County Commission Chairman Robb Pitts joins show host Rose Scott to discuss these many topics, including why he’s prioritizing a new hospital over a new jail.

Pitts also mentions the relationship he wants to build with city leaders on the north and south ends of the county, his effort to maintain respect at county commission meetings and more.
