Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee has dismissed some of the charges against former President Donald Trump and others in the 2020 Georgia election interference case.

The partial dismissal drops six charges in the 41-count indictment, including three against Trump. The charges that were dismissed charged defendants with soliciting public officials to violate their oaths.

On Wednesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” WABE politics reporter Sam Gringlas discussed the latest and explained what this could mean for the future of the trial.
