Fulton County’s Election Office Problems Continue: A Talk with County Commissioner Robb Pitts

Fulton County’s elections division director, Sam Westmoreland, resigned unconditionally on Monday, September 24th.  He had spent 10 days in jail in Alpharetta, accused of violating the terms of his probation from a 2009 DUI arrest.  But the Westmoreland case is just the latest in a long line of problems for Fulton County elections officials, and for voters in the County.  WABE’s Denis O’Hayer asked County Commission member Robb Pitts why Fulton continues to have election administration issues.
