GALEO has released its 2024 Georgia Latino Voter Report. The new report details engagement and trends among Georgia’s Latino voters in 2024.
On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Kyle Gomez-Leineweber, the director of public policy and advocacy for GALEO, talked with show host Rose Scott about some of the key findings from the report and explained how the Latino electorate could potentially impact future elections.
During the discussion, Gomez-Leineweber talked about exit poll data, how misinformation targeted Latinos, and the diverse views of the community on issues such as immigration and democracy.
“We don’t all think the same, we don’t all vote the same,” he explained.
Gomez-Leineweber also expressed why he feels it’s important for political parties to talk with Latino voters about issues that are important to them.
