The Biden administration on Tuesday agreed to stop pushing the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s mandate that private businesses vaccinate employees. This comes after a Supreme Court ruling sided against the administration earlier this month.
Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr joined dozens of other state attorneys general who recently signed onto a letter calling on OSHA to drop the rule.
Carr sat down for a conversation on the updates with WABE’s “All Things Considered” host Jim Burress, who started by asking Carr about the possibility that OSHA could bring back the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for large businesses — just under a non-emergency use situation.
