Georgia State and Georgia Tech Baseball Teams Square Off Atlanta NCAA Regional

– It could become a cross town rivalry and for the first time Georgia Tech and Georgia State will be the center of attention for tonight's game.

A jam packed crowd is expected at Russ Chandlier Stadium.

Panthers head coach Greg Frady says he believes that won't play against Georgia State

((going to the stadium there to play on that field…we're excited to go there and play we know it's a great challenge but we are excited))

With a record of 39 wins and 20 losses this is the first time the Panthers have been in the NCAA baseball tournament.

Georgia Tech is ranked 13th in the nation and the engineers are seeded number in the Atlanta regional.

The teams will take to the field at 7pm.
