Bike America is this year’s winner of the Alliance Theatre’s National Graduate Playwriting Competition. Written by Mike Lew from the Juilliard Drama Division, the show centers on a woman named Penny, who decides on a whim to set off on a cross-country bike trip.
WABE’s Myke Johns sat down with the playwright to talk about some of the ideas behind the show.
