GSU professor urges voters to consider structure of government amid 'Leave it Blank' campaign

Next week, Georgians will vote in the state’s Presidential primary election. The Listen to Georgia Coalition says the election is an opportunity for Democratic voters to insist President Joe Biden call for a permanent ceasefire in the Israel-Gaza war.

Organizers for the “Leave it Blank” campaign discussed their effort on Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look.”

On Wednesday, Tammy Greer, a GSU clinical assistant professor, returns to the program to give political analysis on whether a protest vote can have an effect. During the conversation, Professor Greer explained why it’s important to understand the structure and process of government—and the potential impact that leaving it blank could have on the election.
