Kirby McClure’s new indie film “Spaghetti Junction” is about a disabled teenager who encounters a traveler claiming to have supernatural origins. The story takes place in the Doraville neighborhood around the entangled road interchange, locally known as Spaghetti Junction.
The film has screened at several prominent festivals and will be released in the coming months on Amazon Prime. In this interview, the Atlanta-based McClure spoke with “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes about the new film.
“Whether you escape into art or music or creating your own world, you’re able to get a little bit of distance from the bad things happening in your life,” says McClure.
