In the 20th century, Americans with international careers usually lived in New York or Los Angeles. Not now. With Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, metro Atlanta is ideal for global travelers, such as violinist Itamar Zorman. The internationally renowned artist won the gold medal at the 2011 International Tchaikovsky Competition.
This weekend he will be the guest soloist with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, performing the Violin Concerto of Alban Berg.
Though New York, London, or Berlin could be easy departure cities for the Israeli-born Zorman, he began the interview by talking about why he lives in Athens, Georgia.
