Joy of Teaching
Mary Barkley is a 7th Grade Life Science teacher at Dodgen Middle School. She describes her class as a kind of precursor to biology. She’s been teaching since 1998 and says she enjoys it because of the excitement that she sees when kids discover something new for the first time. To be a part of that discovery and to just to be invited into that moment makes her feel blessed.
