More than 1.5 million Georgians have submitted their ballots within the first week of early voting for the 2024 general election. Peach State voters are not only considering elected offices; there are also two statewide amendments and a referendum concerning taxes.

Daniel Kanso is the director of legislative strategy and a senior fiscal analyst at Georgia Budget and Policy Institute. He said Georgia is not among the states that require ease of readability on ballot measures. Kanso joined host Rose Scott on Monday’s edition of “Closer Look” to help make the three proposals easier to understand for Georgia voters.
