After more than 40 years at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, long-time political columnist Jim Galloway recently announced plans to retire after the January run-off elections in Georgia.
His retirement announcement came after a contentious 2020 election season, which resulted in Georgia voters choosing a Democratic presidential candidate for the first time in decades.
On Friday’s edition of Closer Look, Galloway joined host Rose Scott for a conversation looking back on a memorable election season, and reflecting upon his career as a reporter at the University of Georgia and, later, the AJC.
