MAC pushes for diversity, equity and inclusion in Atlanta's business community
Michael Baptiste, Metro Atlanta Chamber’s vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion, says one of the biggest misconceptions companies have about DEI is the amount of time that it takes to see results.
On Monday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Baptiste talked with program host Rose Scott about MAC’s ATL Action for Racial Equity initiative, a multi-year and multi-step action plan to dismantle systemic racism that focuses on the four key areas: corporate policies, inclusive economic development, education and workforce development.
During the conversation, Baptiste further explained the new results of the inaugural diversity, equity and inclusion assessment.
