Marc 'Banks' Weinstein reflects on 50 years of Mellow Mushroom

It’s the golden jubilee for Atlanta’s homegrown heroes of pizza. The Mellow Mushroom restaurant company celebrates its 50^th birthday this year, after its humble origins as a tiny Midtown pizza joint run by three hippie college friends led to success and expansion with franchise locations all over the Southeast.

Mellow Mushroom is kicking off the next 50 years with a full-scale company rebrand, new logos, a new digital content campaign and a new limited-time menu.
