All MARTA rail service west of Five Points will be suspended next Monday morning for the Georgia Dome implosion. The Georgia Dome and Vine City stations will be closed completely. For the rest of the stations, buses will fill in for the trains beginning at 4:30 a.m.
“We have established these bus lines to mimic the rail lines, so it will stop at or near every rail station on its way from either Bankhead to Five Points or Hamilton E. Holmes to Five Points,” said MARTA communications director Stephany Fisher.
Fisher told WABE’s “Closer Look” that they’ll closely monitor the tunnels and stations for damage.
