Milledgeville woman discusses financial challenges amid the COVID-19 pandemic
Amid the ongoing health crisis and rising inflation, many Americans are struggling to make ends meet.
New data suggests that 70% of millennials between the ages of 23-38 are living paycheck to paycheck.
During Thursday’s edition of “Closer Look’s” Paycheck to Paycheck series, Jessica McQuain talked with program host Rose Scott about how she and her wife have been fairing financially amid the pandemic.
McQuain, who is a millennial and lives in Milledgeville, Georgia, said that she quit her full-time salary job because of medical reasons and has since taken on a part-time job.
She’s further expressed that due to the Biden administration’s temporary pause on student loan payments, she and her wife have been able to pay their monthly bills but are still living paycheck to paycheck.
