More Metro Atlanta Road Construction (and More Traffic) on Tap This Weekend

Interstate 85 at Georgia 400 is the main culprit this weekend. G-DOT says up to three lanes of I-85 will be closed — in both directions — between Cheshire Bridge Road and 400. That work starts at 9 p.m. Friday and runs through 5 a.m. Monday.

In Sandy Springs, crews will be working on the I-285 bridge between Roswell Road and Riverside Drive. That work will close three eastbound lanes all weekend.

Expect single lane closures overnight this weekend on the Downtown Connector near Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and on I-75 near Mount Paran Road.
