Morehouse School of Medicine and Agnes Scott College partner to expand education for local students
On Monday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Joseph Tyndall, executive vice president for Health Affairs and the dean of Morehouse School of Medicine, and Kelly Ball, associate dean for Graduate Studies at Agnes Scott College talked with program host Rose Scott about the creation of the Early Commitment Program (ECP) and a Pre-Medical Linkage Program.
“It’s a way for us for us to be able to open opportunity so many more students who want to peruse the practice of medicine,” said Tyndall.
Both programs will allow eligible Agnes Scott undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students to be admitted to Morehouse School of Medicine’s MD program.
During the conversation, Ball further explained that admission teams at both schools are working on a pilot launch this year and a full launch next year.
