New App Answers the Question, “What Was There?”

  It’s been said that the only constant is change. Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the company, “Enlighten Ventures” is looking to document the visual changes in our country’s urban landscapes, with a mix of current technology, and historical photos.

“What Was There” is the name of the web and smartphone interface, and we spoke with senior digital strategist Laurel Erickson about this new resource for history buffs, genealogists, and more.  She began by explaining what you can do with “What Was There”.
