As metro Atlanta school districts try to close multi-million dollar shortfalls, some have raised class sizes; others are considering it. But will larger class sizes hurt student achievement? And, do smaller class sizes ensure students will do better? The answers are complicated, according to a new study from the Southern Regional Education Board.
