Andi Kezh, a James Edward Oglethorpe Scholar, is no longer afraid to talk about having a cleft lip and cleft palate.
Instead, Kezh, who has had more than 14 surgeries to repair the birth condition that impacts the appearance and functioning of the mouth and lips, is now using her personal story to fuel the success of her academic and professional career.
For the “Closer Look” graduation series Kezh, a communication studies major and a soon-to-be graduate of Oglethorpe University, talks with show host Rose Scott about her research that investigates the sociocultural beliefs about the causes of cleft lip/palate.
