Parents, students still in shock over shooting at Apalachee High School
A 14-year-old student shot and killed four people at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, on Wednesday, according to authorities.
Of the people who died, two were students and two were teachers at the school. According to Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Chris Hosey, the suspect is a student at the high school and will be charged with murder and tried as an adult.
All Barrow County schools will be closed for the rest of the week, and the school system is offering crisis counselors at the central office.
