• 1:16: Mario Van Peebles, the director and actor known for “New Jack City,” for his portrayal of Malcom X in “Ali,” and directing episodes of “Roots,” “Nashville,” and “Empire,” now has the series “Superstition” on SyFy. He talks with Lois Reitzes about the show about a family in a small Georgia town who run a funeral home by day and fight the forces of the supernatural by night.
• 36:43: Reitzes speaks with photographer and artist Sheila Pree Bright about her experiences documenting protests. Her work appears in the High Museum of Arts’ current exhibit of Civil Rights photography called “A Fire That No Water Could Put Out.”
