  • 0:00: Quarry Yards is a 70-acre mixed-use development currently being built on Atlanta’s West Side. The project is expected to include the city’s largest park, as well as a 177-unit quality workforce and affordable housing community. “Closer Look” recently visited the property to hear the vision of the developers, Joel Bowman and Mark Teixeira of Urban Creek Partners, and to receive a tour of the grounds.

Dekalb County District 4 Commissioner recently joined “Closer Look” in studio to discuss his goal “to enhance the long-term economic viability” of the Corridor.

  • 42:55: The College Park City Council unanimously approved a plan late August to transform a 320-acre plot of land into an ‘airport city.’ Artie Jones III, economic development director of the City of College Park, and Bill De. St. Aubin, CEO of the Sizemore Group architecture firm, recently joined “Closer Look” in studio to share more details from the development’s master plan.
