He spoke at the summit earlier this afternoon at 1 p.m. In other news, Atlanta area colleges have started announcing this year’s commencement speakers.   • 3:31: From suburban neighborhoods to growing cities, American neighborhoods are changing and a study by the University of Minnesota School of Law finds poverty is the most common factor. According to the report, 36.5 million residents live in an area that has undergone “low-income concentration” since 2000. More on the study’s findings with Professor Myron Orfield, Director of the Institute of Metropolitan Opportunity, and Will Stancil, research fellow at the Institute of Metropolitan Opportunity.
  • 35:22: From the passage of Roe v. Wade in 1973 to now, the abortion debate has a long history in American politics and both major political parties in the United States have used the issue to pursue electoral majorities. We’ll discuss this history with two Agnes Scott academics.
