  • 0:00: Increased noise complaints in Midtown are at the center of a dispute between businesses and some new residents. With growing concerns that the LGBTQ community may be getting priced – and pushed – out of the neighborhood, a new group called I Am Midtown formed, with the hopes of preserving Midtown culture. We’ll speak with Lydia Gerzel, who sparked the #IAmMidtown hashtag, and Stephen Beckwith, a member of the group and realtor at Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty.
  • 19:30: Former MARTA CEO and General Manager Keith Parker is in a new role. We’re out and about with Parker as he share his plans and vision as president and CEO of Goodwill of North Georgia.
  • 46:15: We continue to look at the issue of cash bonds, following a recent announcement from Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms that her administration is proposing legislation to eliminate cash bonds to secure release from the City of Atlanta Detention Center following an arrest for violation of city ordinances. Today, we hear from Chris Blaylock, a New Jersey bail bondsman who says that his business has been severely affected by bail reform in the state.
