How Trump indictments are tied to expectations of free and fair elections; the “Hard Reset” for Morris Brown College
On today’s “Closer Look with Rose Scott,” Morris Brown College is undergoing what it calls a “hard reset” after its accreditation was reinstated. Morris Brown President Dr. Kevin James and Dr. Toneyce Randolph, the college’s new provost and senior vice president for Academic Affairs, discuss the past, present, and future of the institution.
Also, Georgia State University law professor Anthony Michael Kreis discusses the recent indictment of former President Donald Trump and 18 of his allies for their alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia. Professor Keis also discusses how the indictments tie to the expectations of free and fair democratic elections, as well as what constitutional arguments may be used in the trial.
