Possible indictment in Fulton County lingers against Trump and allies for alleged election interference

There’s a global focus on the Peach State as political watchers wait to see if former President Donald Trump will face another round of indictments in Fulton County.

Trump and his allies are suspected to trying to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia.

According to several reports, at least 20 people could be charged in the case. On Monday, a Fulton County grand jury heard arguments from prosecutors in the case.

Former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan and investigative journalist George Chidi are among several people expected to testify.

On Monday afternoon, WABE politics reporters Sam Gringlas returned to “Closer Look” to report on the latest developments and expressed that a possibility of a charging decision could happen soon.

If Trump is indicted in Fulton County, it will be his fourth indictment.
